It has been a year since I left London with Kia to Delhi. the beginning of my travels. And a lot of travelling - And a lot of non-travelling - has occurred since that day. A lot of photos have been taken - I mean lot. Just over 16 000 photos and that does not include the thousands taken in India/Nepal. A lot has been written - about Asia anyway. Made some new friends and met up with some old.
Then why have I not recently updated the blog? I could come up with all manner of different excuses but I think it comes down to being sooooooooo lazy at the moment. It does not help that in Golden Bay I am on dial up. There would be a lack of photos!!!
So, the blog is going on break - again - for a couple of weeks. it will be back after - hopefully - a spring clean - it is spring in NZ

i have finally seen a kiwi bird!!! (& nothing like the fruit) - & that other weird giant parrot that forgot how to fly... the kakapo
CONGRATULATIONS on having survived/thrived a whole year and done & seen so many wonderful things... you are an inspiration.
I will refrain from tasteless sheep jokes but will say that the lamb is adorable and much like my beloved Lamby that we ended up eating on Christmas day.

Your not 'grooming' that lamb are you, there's a law against that sort of thing in New Zealand..
Hey, Dan hope you're doing a bit of work too! Sorry just a bit jealous as work has been even busier and stressful for me since I got back from my 2 week break. Feels like months have gone by but its only been 2 and half!!
Anyway, what's the story with the pet lamb? Lost? You are the bo peep who has found a sheep?
For those of you who think there are heaps of sheep in NZ, well there are probably more cows..very depressing...environmentally that is...
