Taupo & Rotorua - The bad weather tour 17th-20th July

On the road North to Taupo, on the shore of Lake Taupo. Coincidentatly, the bus I booked was the same as Ulli's - who was headed to Auckland and then Fiji. So we travelled once more together - for a few hours anyway.

Taupo. As you can see, not the best of days. Did meet some great people at the Rainbow Lodge from France, Italy, Germany and Japan.

Rotorua, on Lake Rotorua, geysers, natural hot steaming springs and bubling mud pools. A cafe named after my mum. A Maori Village. The constant smell of the sulphur rich air.
