The people of Palmerston North were not Amused, they named one of their rubbish tips after him.
So why did we come here. Well, for Dalia to meet a friend. We did not stay for long, Dalia grabbed her friend Cecile - yup French - and We drove West to Wanganui.
You may think that Palmerston North looks so green. Well it isn't. The photos are from the ferry crossing from Picton on the South Island to Wellington the capital via Queen Charlotte Sound & Cook Straight, a 3 hr crossing.
