We did find a great place to hang out, No, not Dunkin Donuts, at Coffee & Waffle. Its not the same. They sell Waffle's not doughnuts. Ok its Same, Same but different. Spent a few hours over the 3 days enjoying the surroundings. (the photos are in the previous post)
On the 3rd day, I was heading to Busan - further south and the second city of South Korea - and Julie was heading back up to Seoul - we did have athe time int he morning for 1 last coffee (& doughnut).
I then spent the morning exploring the Shila Burial mounts. Gyeongju was the centre of the Shila Empire - no further information sorry - And when they buried the dead they buried them under a mound. The size of the mount depended on their importance in the Empire. If a married couple, thzey had a double mound. The mound were similar in idea to the pyramids. However, there was no access to the burial crypte. The crypte was woodend and then buried under the mound. The mound was of solid construction.
I now head to Busan...
